Wenhui Duan is an inspiring exemplar in driving knowledge-based economy in infrastructure. He has built the Nanocomm Hub as one of the largest university-industry collaboration consortiums within the ARC Linkage Program, which has delivered some 60 industry projects notably in roads and concrete construction, commercialisation of 8 patents, 20 construction products, 17 guidelines/Australia standards, and training over 60 PhD students as next generation leaders. Outcomes have led to commercial success in industry, generating millions of dollars as well as tangible social/environmental benefits. He is a passionate supporter of STEM initiatives.
