Dr Phillips is a water engineer specialising in hydro-environmental studies and stormwater management. Recognised for innovative solutions on projects throughout Australia and SE Asia in his role as Water Leader with Cardno, 32 of his 350+ projects for public and private clients have received 41 excellence awards from EA and others. A major contributor to the now accepted practices of integrated stormwater management and water sensitive urban design, his work has significantly improved the built environment. A contributing author to ?Australian Rainfall and Runoff?, he also co-developed water engineering software marketed internationally.
