Dr Sarah Ryan is unusual. She started when women were a rarity in geophysics. Yet she rose to senior leadership roles in one of the world's largest service providers in the petroleum industry. Her skill is in using geophysical and geological information to improve understanding of the oil and gas reservoir and how to efficiently and safely develop and produce it. She is a mixture of geologist, geophysicist, researcher, inventor, innovation creator and active marketer of new applications. She is an analyst, a venture capitalist and a NED. And she is a passionate advocate and role model for women in STEM.
