Peter Yates is one of Australia's leading business figures. He has been CEO of one of the top media organisations (PBL) and Executive Director of a major investment bank. What distinguishes Peter, however, is his passion for science and technology and his efforts in promoting their public dissemination in Australia through the Royal Institution of Australia (which he co-founded) and the Australian Science Media Centre (which he co-founded). He raised multi-million dollar sums of money for both these organisations to enable them to pursue their goals. Peter brings much needed acumen and capability to ATSE.
