Professor Melinda Hodkiewicz is instrumental in developing and implementing best practice methods in Asset Management nationally and internationally. She chaired the Standards Australia committee responsible for the ISO 55001 Asset Management Standard and in 2016 received the MESA Medal, a lifetime achievement award for services to the asset management community. She is a bridge builder working at the nexus of industry and universities, valued for her technical expertise. By establishing multidisciplinary teams she has broken new ground in understanding human, organizational and technology factors that affect asset maintenance and safety.
