Professor Graham ‘Gus’ Nathan is recognised internationally for research, teaching and advisory across the energy sector and particularly on the decarbonisation of heavy industry. Professor Nathan is currently the Research Director and a co-founder of the Heavy Industry, Low-carbon Transition Cooperative Research Centre. He has previously commercialised successful energy technologies and undertaken numerous leadership roles related to industrial decarbonization for both his university and other organisations. As an ATSE Fellow, Professor Nathan will continue to advocate for and lead transformations in the ‘hard-to-abate’, heavy industry sector that is central to Australia’s welfare and the global decarbonization task.
