Glenn is an entrepreneur and leader in the renewable energy, electricity grids and clean tech space, and a prominent figure in Australian industry. He is managing director of Emergent Group of businesses, covering IoT, applied-telecommunications, engineering and manufacturing in sectors from agriculture to data centres, and is also a non executive director of Ampcontrol, Australia's largest private electrical engineering firm. Glenn has spun out several businesses working with solar, batteries and clean technologies, including launching them on the ASX, and had a leading role in the most pioneering energy projects across Australia. Glenn has academic roles at the University of Sydney, University of Queensland and University of Prince Edward Island (Canada). Glenn is a Vincent Fairfax Fellow, and a recipient of the Australian Financial Review’s Sustainability Leader and Young Executive of the Year awards.
