Professor Green is Professor of Astrophysics at Sydney and has been a trailblazer for women in physics and, as the first female Head of the School of Physics, was a strong influence on research excellence. She has outstanding achievements in astronomy and telescope technology and made a significant impact on planning for the Square Kilometre Array.
