Round 2 of the Global Science and Technology Diplomacy Fund - Strategic Element offers $6.3 million for international collaborations in priority research and development disciplines.


 

The fund’s strategic element provides flexible funding for collaborative projects aligned with Australia’s priority research areas including:

  • Advanced manufacturing

  • Artificial intelligence

  • Quantum computing

  • Hydrogen production

  • RNA (including mRNA) vaccines and therapies

Commencing in 2024 and continuing over the next four years, the fund will support international collaboration to enhance Australia’s profile in science and technology research and application. Australian business, entrepreneurs and researchers can capitalise on international opportunities to commercialise their cutting-edge products and services and strengthen scientific collaborations.
