In ATSE's 50th year we are calling for outstanding nominations from across all sectors in our ATSE ecosystem. Never has there been a more important time to honour the incredible work and achievements of our leading engineers, entrepreneurs, researchers and inventors who are building a better Australia through technological innovation.
Who will you nominate?
We encourage you to consider the emerging leaders or experienced innovators in your sector who you could nominate. Consider how this person or group of people have contributed to bettering society through innovation and achievement- with the award categories as a guide.

The Clunies Ross Technology Innovation Awards recognise contributions by dedicated individuals, or teams, who have shared their vision and knowledge with others to apply technology for the benefit of Australia, and beyond.
Traditional Knowledge Innovation Award – open for self nomination

Now in its second year, the ATSE Traditional Knowledge Innovation Award recognises an individual, team, community, or organisation respectfully and successfully applying Australian Traditional Knowledge in contemporary innovation contexts.
Batterham Medal for Engineering Excellence
Batterham Medal for Engineering Excellence
The Batterham Medal is an early career award for a graduate engineer who has achieved substantial peer or industry recognition for their work in the past five years.
David & Valerie Solomon Award
David & Valerie Solomon Award
The David & Valerie Solomon Award is an early-mid career award for a science or technology graduate working in academia/research or industry R&D who demonstrates substantial ability to foster research-industry collaboration and knowledge transfer for the benefit of Australia.
Ezio Rizzardo Polymer Scholarship
Ezio Rizzardo Polymer Scholarship
The Ezio Rizzardo Polymer Scholarship acknowledges the potential impact of an outstanding PhD candidate in polymer science or engineering.
