Are you a woman or non-binary person interested in applying for an Elevate: Boosting Women in STEM scholarship for 2025?
Applications are open for the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering’s Elevate: Boosting women in STEM Scholarships. The Elevate Program aims to address gender inequities in STEM through fostering more industry-academia collaborations in applied research and business, growing professional skills of women and non-binary people in STEM and propelling women and non-binary people into leadership.
Elevate scholarships are provided to women and non-binary people studying undergraduate STEM degrees, postgraduate STEM research degrees, and Masters of STEM or postgraduate degrees to improve business acumen. In addition to the scholarship, the Elevate Program provides access to events and networking, mentoring and ongoing wellbeing support during scholars’ university studies.
Anyone interested in learning more about the program and applying for the 2025 intake is invited to join ATSE for a public online information session.
Undergraduate Information Session
For anyone looking at applying for an Undergraduate Scholarship, the information session will be held on Tuesday July 9th 2024. This session will include an overview of the program’s aims and objectives, tips and tricks for applying for the undergraduate scholarship, followed by a Q&A session for applicants.
Postgraduate Research & Leadership Information Session
For anyone looking at applying for a Postgraduate or Leadership Scholarship, the information session will be held on Wednesday July 10th 2024. This session will include an overview of the program’s aims and objectives, tips and tricks for applying for postgraduate research and leadership scholarships, followed by a Q&A session for applicants.
Both events will be accessible, with live captions and Auslan interpreters. Event recordings will be made publicly available after the event.
Applicants are required to meet three eligibility criteria:
- Identify as a woman or non-binary person
- Be enrolling as a domestic student at an Australian University
- Be planning to undertake a STEM degree or higher studies to improve business acumen, commencing in 2025.
