Tour the ANU School of Cybernetics

Visit the ANU School of Cybernetics, the first new school at the ANU in over 40 years. Here we delight in unpacking complex systems to understand how technology, people and environment intersect and interact.

You will wander through Level 3 of the Birch Building, hear about some of the diverse and creative projects underway at the school and play with PANIC, an interactive installation powered by generative AI.

About the School of Cybernetics
Cybernetics is the study of effective action in complex, dynamic systems (think climate change, new technologies like AI and social unrest). At the ANU School of Cybernetics we are building capability to help people solve the challenging issues of our time. Our people and programs blend education, research and engagement to support students, collaborators and the public to tackle the challenges posed by technology at scale
