Katherine Morgan completed her B.Sc. in 2016 and Master of Science in 2018, both majoring in Chemistry. She completed a Doctor of Philosophy in chemistry at the University of Melbourne in 2023 and has continued her research at Bio21 Molecular Science and Biotechnology Institute.
Her research focuses on designing new personalised molecular treatments for cancer using metallic radionuclides and the development of diagnostic imaging agents for Alzheimer’s Disease. Her research uses a combination of synthetic chemistry, radiochemistry, biochemistry, and cell biology. Teaching undergraduate chemistry laboratory classes was one of the highlights of her time as a postgraduate student and she loves working in the laboratory.

Elevate Scholar | Health and computing PhD at University of Melbourne
Jemima is a first year PhD student at the University of Melbourne in the School of Computing and Information Systems. Her background is in psychology and her PhD focuses on using machine learning and natural language processing techniques to understand how people talk about mental health on social media and how discussions have changed over time.
